We were at a complete loss when our 1 year kitty Jake, was diagnosed with wet FIP. After shopping around, something about this website just felt better to me & trustworthy. After 84 days of injection, our five months old kitten is clinically really better. But as she still have water and a lot of gaz in her stomach area, the veterinary ask is to continue the treatment for 1 month more a maybe 2. Were are going step bye step but as for now, the hope is really better.
After diagnosis of FIP in my young cat, I have been giving him daily injections of GS-441524 for 9 weeks. So far, his response to the medication has been exactly as described in the literature about this treatment. His fever was gone in 2 or 3 days, and he seemed pretty much back to normal in less than a month. His weight increased nearly 25% in less than two months, and his blood test was significantly improved. Three weeks of injections left to go, but so far, I couldn't be more pleased.
My 2 year old cat was diagnosed with FIP, showing symptoms of fluid collection & ocular (blood in the eye ball)... Also had fluctuating fever. My regular VET gave us death sentence but found about this medication. As of today, we had 11 shots and the cat is pretty much back to normal. The shininess of the fur has come back, eye is clearing up, eating and pooping normal. Gained back about 1 lbs. Hope this becomes widely used medication in the world.
