HerpX™ is an oral antiviral for cats living with Feline Herpesvirus (FHV-1), the infection behind most recurring eye and upper respiratory flares. Each film-coated tablet contains 180 mg of famciclovir and is given at home under veterinary direction.
Formulated for cats, not adapted from human medicine
Famciclovir is considered systemically well tolerated in cats when dosed correctly. That distinction matters: acyclovir and valacyclovir, two human antivirals sometimes reached for by mistake, are associated with toxicity in cats. HerpX™ is intended for feline use under veterinary guidance.
